Touch of Evil 1958

This movie is about an evil police captain who was plotting evidence at crime scenes to help prove that people are guilty. Captain Quinlan is played by Orson Welles who does a really good job at playing his character. Charlton Heston, who plays a man named Mike Vargas, is a police official for the Mexican government. He and his wife become victims of one of the Captain’s schemes. Captain Quinlan plants evidence that makes it seem that his wife is responsible for a murder that she did not commit. In trying to prove that his wife is innocent, his friend is killed in the process. The acting was actually pretty good. I did find it a little odd with Charlton Heston playing a Hispanic man, since all they did was put makeup on him. The movie was somewhat entertaining, even if it was a black and white movie.
